Sometime you cannot extend your C: drive using Disk Management. It generally happens when there is Recovery Partition between your C drive and your Unallocated space. I have one screenshot of the problem.
You see there is no option to extend your volume..

To solve this problem I used "MiniTool Partition Wizard" and I will suggest you guys to use the same tool. You can download this software from-"http://download.cnet.com/MiniTool-Partition-Wizard-Free-Edition/3000-2094_4-10962200.html".

Step 1:

Download and install "MiniTool Partition Wizard" application.

Step2:

Run the application and allow it to make changes. Launch the application.

Step 3:

Right click on C: drive and select extend option.

Step 4:

Change the selection to Unallocated space in "Take Free Space from:" menu. Set how much space you want to add in your C: drive. After selecting press the "OK" button.

Step 5:

Click on the "apply" button situated in the Top-Left corner.

Step 6:

Wait till it finishes the task......
 Your work is DONE...
If you like this DON'T forget to click on G+1...
